Journalist Yan Zhe reported that Gao Yunxiang`s case was reopened at the Sydney Central District Court at 09:35 today. In court, the court formally annulled the first two felony charges against Wang Jing and Gao Yunxiang, which will be handed over to the district court for formal trial on the 7th of next month.
Gao Yunxiang arrived at the trial early in the morning with a relaxed face, while another defendant Wang Jing in the case appeared in the court in the form of video, slightly tired in his prison uniform in the video. At the beginning of the session, judge, through a Chinese interpreter, announced to it that he had dropped charges 1 and 2, and that the District Court would hear him on charges 3 to 13, after which he would appear in the form of a video because of the refusal of his bail application. Wang Jing video was silent for 5 minutes without a word.
Judge then announced that Gao Yunxiang had dropped his first and second charges and tried his third to ninth charges. Gao stood in front of the court and was translated by his assistant. The court, Gao Yunxiang`s team did not apply to a higher court for reconsideration of the rejection of the previous application No. 93, which means that the woman will not be summoned to the court for cross-examination.

As for Gao Yunxiang`s failure to file an application for reconsideration of the subpoena of a woman, according to lawer, the application was too difficult to pass and its two felony charges were withdrawn, and abandoning the appeal would help to shorten the entire trial process, such as according to the normal schedule of the court. The case will also have six to eight months of trial and a 12-member jury.
At present, the pre-trial stage of the case has ended, Gao Yunxiang on seven charges, Wang Jing with 11 charges. The two men will enter the formal trial stage in the district court on December 7 th.
