January 16, 2019, Sydney Cheshire (Chatswood) will host the first Lunar New year Lantern Parade. At that time, the community will witness with their own eyes the grand event of the traditional street parade.
The Grand Parade team will start from the Taxi Live Public Transport transfer Center (Chatswood Interchange) via the Cheshire Live Shopping Centre (Chatswood Mall) and Victoria Avenue (Victoria Avenue). A stunning lion dance performance, deafening gongs and drums, and beautiful traditional dances will bring an unforgettable audiovisual feast.
Willermore than the (Willoughby) City Council said it hoped that more communities would participate in this exciting Lunar New year celebration as part of the Lunar New year parade. Or join 35 stalls in the gold market (Golden Market) as merchants to share food, clothing, toys, flowers, etc., to celebrate the Lunar New year.
Community and friendship groups can enroll in a parade, dress up a float, show their traditional cultural talent and clothing, and add color to this wonderful experience. Businesses can advertise and promote their stalls to many potential customers from (North Shore), Sydney`s north bank.
From January 29 to February 8, the Cheshire Live Shopping Center will be hugely crowded. Lanterns in the gold market, traditional entertainment, calligraphy and music performances will also bring a wonderful and exciting experience to the community.
