After a week of "civil unrest" by the Liberal Party, the latest polls show that the Soyuz party`s basic approval rating has fallen to a 10-year low of 33%, while the approval rating of the new chief executive, Credit Mosuisse (Scott Morrison), has lagged behind Labour leader Sheldon (Bill Shorten).

The government fell into chaos last week, with Mr Mosuisse replacing Mr (Malcolm Turnbull) as the new prime minister and his deputy, Fredenberg (Josh Frydenberg), promoted to finance minister, the Australian news agency reported.

The Newspoll poll, conducted after Friday`s Liberal Party leader vote, showed the Soyuz party`s basic approval rating fell to 33%, its lowest level in 10 years. On the other hand, Labour also took an absolute 56% lead over the Liberal Party`s 44%, and the gap between the two parties reached 12%. Just two weeks ago, the opposition led by only 51% to 49%.

Today, Fredenberg told 3AW Radio that the government has no plans for an early election because the new leadership team will need time to set the agenda. "Last week was a very difficult week for the Liberal Party and for my colleagues, but we need to move on," he said.

Former Prime Minister Albert (Tony Abbott), who has been accused of playing an important role in triggering the leadership crisis, believes the Soyuz polls are expected to rise under credit Mosuisse.

McCormack (Michael McCormack), the new deputy prime minister, said the polls reflected last week`s split and chaos and stressed that "we need to reverse the situation, we are about to turn it around, and we have to turn it around."

Finance Minister Coleman (Mathias Cormann) conceded that the leadership crisis had affected the government`s performance and that "the results of today`s (Monday) polls were not surprising, given the government`s situation last week."

In addition, according to the latest poll, Labour leader Sheldon (Bill Shorten), whose personal approval ratings have been low, has also fought a "turnaround", with 39 percent of his voters backing him and only 33 percent of voters backing the new prime minister, Credit Mosuisse. Two weeks ago, Mr Sheldon was as much as 12 percentage points behind then-prime minister Tembo (Malcolm Turnbull).

While polls suggest Labour is more popular, shadow finance minister Bowen (Chris Bowen) does not take it for granted. He told ABC Radio that Australia "should have a general election soon, and that would be the ultimate answer to this mess and imbalance." (Enyo).
