(The reporter Xin carries on the report) The lawyer`s big "family name card" is effective, Gao Yunxiang again on bail application for final approval! After a six-hour hearing in the previous day, Mr. Gao`s second bail application was settled in the afternoon of today (29 June), and the judge said that his application for bail was approved and that the conditions of bail include a passport to a mother and a wife and a daughter, a curfew from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. on the following day, and the like.

At about 1: 30 pm today, Gao Yunxiang`s wife Dong Xuan, accompanied by friends, appeared outside the High Court again. She was still wearing a dark green coat the day before and sat in court early.

After the trial, Gao Yunxiang still attended by video link, dressed in green prison clothes, as if holding a book. After sitting down, he took a few deep breaths and seemed a little nervous. He listened attentively throughout the judge`s reading of the results.

Judge Mccallum (Lucy McCallum) said it was most important to consider whether Gao Yunxiang was at risk of escaping during bail as to whether bail was granted or not. She believes that although Gao Yunxiang has no strong and close ties with Australia, and there is no special extradition law between China and Australia to ensure that he can return to face charges, Gao has no criminal record, no history of violence, and no performance of disobedience to the court. And there is evidence that he has good conduct in China. Moreover, Gao Yunxiang`s wife, Dong Xuan, is a well-known actor in China. She is willing to drop her acting career in China and move to Australia with Gao`s mother and daughter to accompany Gao until the end of the case. Based on these considerations, the court decided to grant bail applications.

As the judge announced bail approval, family and friends in the audience cheered and applauded, but were immediately stopped by the lawyers` team and asked them to be quiet. The interpreter on court then translated the judge`s decision for Gao Yunxiang. He gave no surprise and nodded calmly. "all right, thank you."

Although bail was granted, it was accompanied by a series of harsh bail conditions-after his release, he could only live in Dong Xuan`s rented apartment and could not leave, reporting twice a day to the (Chatswood) police station. The bail amounts to more than A $3 million, hand in your passport and cannot apply for a new passport. At the same time, Gao Yunxiang`s mother, wife and daughter`s passport must also hand in, he can only have one cell phone number, and must provide to the investigator. In addition, he was unable to approach a curfew between 9 pm and 5 a.m., within 100 metres of Sydney International Airport, and could not contact any witnesses in the case. He had to wear electronic surveillance all the way. The judge also made it clear that he could not be released until the electronic surveillance (electronical monitor) was installed.
