In the Domino`s case, SDA has filed for the termination of 27 agreements and said it is seeking a new working agreement with the Pisa chain. SDA acknowledged that the previous agreement with Domino`s was "flawed."
In addition to the termination of the agreement between SDA and Domino`s, (Retail and Fast Food Workers Union), the retailer and fast food workers union, also filed for termination of the agreement with Domino`s.
Secretary Kulinan (Josh Cullinan) said an Domino`s part-time delivery driver worked an average of 10 hours a week, losing A $2,000 a year under the current salary agreement. Starting January 24, he said, employees will receive regular Saturday overtime, Sunday overtime and temporary overtime.
The Domino`s welcomed the fair work committee`s decision, saying Domino`s supported the termination of existing corporate negotiation agreements.
