After the arrival of 18-year-old Saudi refugee Raha (Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun, Senator Han Xin (Pauline Hanson), leader of Australia`s one-country (One Nation) party, lambasted the "fatal flaw" of Australia`s immigration system.

According to the Daily Mail, the incident took an unexpected turn after a lot of people strongly hinted that Raha was going to Australia, flying to Seoul, South Korea, over the weekend, and eventually to Toronto, Canada.

After giving up Islam, the 18-year-old fled the country fearing that her family would kill her.

Han Xin, taking Raha as an example, questioned whether Australia`s immigration plan was strong enough to limit the entry of Raha`s family into Australia.

In a letter to (David Coleman), Australia`s immigration minister, she reiterated her call for restrictions on immigrants from devout Islamic countries.

"as a former Muslim, Raha has every reason to fear that she might be killed by extremists in her home country, Saudi Arabia, because she refuses to accept the Islamic decision," the letter said. But there are still important issues to be solved in this debate. If the people of Raha`s country pose such an urgent threat to her security, shouldn`t we provide greater protection to the Australian public against extremists? "

Han Xin says her views are based not on race, but on ideological differences.

"the issue of Islamic extremism has never been a racial issue, it has been an ideological issue," she wrote. Our immigration program has not done enough to identify people who believe in extreme ideologies. "

Sydney Women`s Rights Group, which tried to help Raha escape to Australia, is said to have been hit hard after she finally decided to start a new life in Canada.

Until now, the group has long believed that Raha will travel to Australia. But on Friday night, Canada confirmed that it had agreed to grant a Raha asylum visa.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau (Justin Trudeau) said Canada has always made it clear that we will defend human and women`s rights around the world. "the United Nations asked us to grant asylum to Raha, and we agreed."
