The Chinese who earn a living in Australia must look at the most profitable and fastest-growing small businesses

This is the dream of many of us-to own our own business, to become our own boss, to be the master of our financial destiny.

This is the dream of many of us-to own our own business, to become our own boss, to be the master of our financial destiny.

But if you think the best way to live is to open a stylish little bar or run a country sleepover, think again. A new study takes stock of the fastest-growing small businesses, all blue-collar jobs.

So the advice is, don`t be a barista, be a construction worker.

Technology company Invoice2Go measures invoiced amounts through its app (app), summarizing the most profitable and fastest-growing sectors for small businesses and self-employed (sole traders).

Small businesses are generally considered to have fewer than 200 employees, but 70 per cent of small businesses in Australia have only one to four employees.

According to 2017 figures, glassmen have the highest invoice value in all occupations, averaging one hundred and sixty one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine yuan a year.

This was followed by the maintenance and installation of swimming pools and spa facilities, which earned a little less, at $ one hundred and fifty five thousand nine hundred and ninety nine.

Construction workers ranked third with a total invoice of one hundred and thirty nine thousand yuan. The fourth and fifth were plumbers and security officers, respectively.

Poor musicians, they are very poor. In the past year, the average number of invoices for musicians was only $34,000. If they put down the guitar, pick up the mop to do the cleaner`s work, a year can make 56,000.

Michelle? Hargreaves (Michelle Hargreaves), a painter and landscape architect in Sydney`s west side, said she now earns "two or three times as much as before" since she quit her full-time job at Qantas (Qantas) eight years ago to become a self-employed person.

"these days, being a self-employed person is more profitable than working in an office," she told news.com.au.

Her business is booming because no one wants to get their hands dirty again.

As for the fastest-growing small business sector, crash repairmen are at the top of the list. With the increase in the number of registered vehicles, the average invoice value of those engaged in car maintenance rose 78%. It seems that there are more and more cars, so are the car accidents.

As Australia`s largest industry, construction is the second fastest-growing sector for small businesses and self-employed households. Invoice value rose 59% year on year.

Gardens are needed for all new homes, so landscape architects are doing well, the industry with the third fastest increase in invoice value in 2017, up 58 percent. Small businesses and glassmen are the fourth-fastest-growing and fifth-fastest-growing industries, respectively.

In the small business occupation surveyed by Invoice2Go, those who engage in communication, such as promotional agents, have the lowest growth in invoice value, up only 15% year-on-year.

Ms. Hargreaves ran her own company, That Ladie Tradie, and hired subcontractors to help her.

Figures show that painters earn one hundred and twenty five thousand nine hundred and ninety nine a year. But she said her invoice was worth more than 200,000, although it was a total income and deducted from the expenses.

"it`s a good business. I`m doing repetitive work. Our business is growing because no one wants to get their hands dirty. But I`ve always liked working outside, and my dad and uncle are electricians and plumbers, "she said.

It took her only half a year to set up a business and is now looking for more subcontractors.

Hargreaves says she works for money, working 10 to 12 hours a day. But on the bright side, her back pain, which she has been sitting at her desk for years, has healed.

Statistics from the Australian Bureau of Statistics last year showed that Australia had nearly 1 million small businesses with at least one employee, an increase of one hundred thousand from 2014.

The fastest-growing "micro" businesses, those with fewer than four employees, added 27,000 new jobs, equivalent to about 90,000 new jobs.

In this kind of small business, the proportion of people who are engaged in education and training is the largest, accounting for 11%. It may be from work to your home to help the child to review the math teacher.

In small businesses, 10% work in real estate, 8% in financial services and 7% in construction workers.

Hargreaves says she advises people to work for themselves. But, she cautioned, choose a job they`re good at and stick to it.

"I used to be afraid of growing up and taking responsibility. But now what I fear is that there are not enough people to keep up with the progress. "
