The trial judge, the administrative registrar Registrar galanis, merely determined the normal process of bail applications on June 28, predicting that the bail trial would last 45 minutes. Before that, the court had rejected Gao Yunxiang`s bail request.

On March 28, 2018, actor Gao Yunxiang and his companion Wang Jing were arrested on suspicion of sexual invasion co-operation after shooting a film in Australia. In April, Gao Yunxiang`s lawyer applied for bail. The district court refused bail after listening to the testimony of both parties. It is reported that during this period, Gao Yunxiang is currently being held in Sydney Yinshui prison.
