According to the official determination of China`s earthquake network, at 05:00 on February 3 in the Qingbai River District of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake with a depth of 21 km, the epicenter of the earthquake is located at 30.74 degrees N and 104.46 degrees E.
According to China`s network of quake stations,406 earthquakes of magnitude 3 or more have occurred in the last nine years within 200 km of the epicenter, the largest of which was a 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Lushan County, Ya`an City, Sichuan Province on April 20,2013.
