National MP Brode (Andrew Broad) has been exposed to the "sugar father (sugar daddy)" scandal. In an effort to prevent themselves from becoming the "half-laughing handle" of Parliament, the National Party member announced on the 4th that he would withdraw from Australian politics.

Broder has been revealed to have dinner with a young woman she met on the (sugar baby) site in Hong Kong, China, according to the Australian news agency. After the incident came to light, Broder resigned as deputy prime minister`s assistant minister and announced that he would no longer run for the (Mallee) seat in Mali, Victoria.

Broder said in an interview on Friday: "I could have made it through, wait until it`s over, quit behind the scenes, and maybe win back the Malian seat." But what`s the point? "

The whole incident, he said, was a "stupid mistake" made by itself, and the fact that it was made public at the request of parliament led to the present situation. "to be honest, I`m happy to leave politics," said the national party lawmaker.

Acting Labour leader (Tanya Plibersek), commenting on the matter on Friday, said everyone made mistakes and regretted Broder.
