The Australian Election Commission (Australian Electoral Commission) finally officially announced the results of the Sydney nylon (Bennelong) by-election, according to the Australian news agency, and the victory of Liberal candidate Alexander (John Alexander) was officially confirmed.

After counting the votes at all 41 polling stations in the constituency, the Australian Election Commission announced Thursday afternoon that Alexander had 54.86 percent of the vote in bipartisan selection, compared with 45.14 percent for Labour candidate Ganeli (Kristina Keneally). That means Labour receives 4.86% of the free vote.

It is understood that the effective ballots collected in this by-election held on December 16 accounted for 84.63% of all votes in the region, and about 8.13% of the ballots were invalid ballots.

In a statement, an election commission spokesman said Alexander attended a public release of the results of the official vote on Thursday at Cheshire (Chatswood). On the day of the by-election, Alexander had declared victory, and Prime Minister (Malcolm Turnbull). Was present.
