A couple of 20-and 21-year-olds are now the youngest buyers of Australia`s real estate market, the Daily Mail reported.

Alex Hart and Holly Power from Gold Coast are young investors who have been saving money since they were 16.

The pair became Australia`s youngest real estate investor and the first to sign a contract with the Urbex`s Northern Gold Coast development, according to Domain.

Hart and Power will soon build their own four-bedroom dream house on 660m2 of land in Harriet Lane, Oxenford.

Harriet Lane is located on the corner of Movie World, just 25 minutes from Surfers Paradise. The new home will be a stepping stone for the young couple to enter the housing market.

It is reported that the husband and wife should be the home owner`s grant, more than 20,000 yuan of down payment.

"it would be hard for Holly and me to make a down payment without a homeowner`s grant."

But he also admitted that the two had made a lot of sacrifices to enter the housing market.

Together, the two people saved about 500000 yuan to complete a land-building transaction.

With many interstate and overseas investors buying homes on the Gold Coast, it`s really challenging to find a home for less than 500000 yuan, Hart said.

Power works in Star Casino, while Hart works in the solar industry.
