"you had a choice and you chose to act as a crime," the court`s judge Deborah Taylor said on court. "you didn`t surrender willingly. You won`t come to court voluntarily. Then Taylor announced that Assange had been sentenced to "50 weeks in prison."

On May 1, Assange appeared in Sutherk criminal court in London, UK, pending a verdict on charges of violating bail regulations, Reuters reported. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a black coat, the report said.

Mr. Assange, 47, launched Wiki decryption in 2006, according to media reports. In 2010, the website published a large number of government secret documents about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Assange was famous, and the United States hated him. In November of the same year, Assange was investigated by Swedish prosecutors on suspicion of rape, and Assange in the United Kingdom was subsequently subjected to British arrest. British police explained in a statement that it was "further" arrest in response to an extradition request from the United States.
