Australia has been using plastic currency for 30 years, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. The so-called "unforgery" currency is now being hit by the fake money. Criminals using cheap printing technology to make fake money, can even hide from banks and court. Today, Australia is one of only four countries in the world with a growing number of fake money. One day in the winter of 2009, three Roland (Roland DG) commercial printers-two of them rented-were rented. A wholly owned-shipped to Water' in (Kurnell), new state S Edge Resort). Water Cliff Resort is a cheap motel located on the northern cliff of (Bonna Point), Cape Bona.

The printer was paid by a man who called himself Peters (John Peters). He told Roland that he was working for goverment, Australia. However, Peters` real name is Mega Raudis (Agapitos Megaloudis). He was a gang member nicknamed Fat Peter (Fat Pete).

In early 2010, Magaradis replaced two rented printers with a fully owned machine. When the rented machine was taken back, Roland noticed that the machine was in "very bad condition".

In March of that year, Roland received a phone call stating that a Peters printer was no longer working. The company sent field service engineer Edwards (David Edwards) to repair. While working, Edwards noticed that the printer contained a clear piece of plastic film.

It turns out that Mega Raudis belongs to a fake money manufacturing gang that forges A $50 bills. Mega Rodith`s brother, Nicholas (Nicholas), paid two such fake money, workers to a hamburger store chain worker and then called the police, leading to the gang`s exposure.

Detective officers tracked down Mega Raudis and his brother and eventually found fake money. With a face value of more than A $40 million.

In court, District Judge Lesseboro (Ross Letherbarrow) admitted that he was "unable to distinguish them from the real money."

At the time of the introduction of plastic money, it was unthinkable to forge banknotes through commercial printers and materials.

At present, Australia has about 1.5 billion notes in circulation, worth nearly A $73 billion, accounting for 37 percent of all Australian transactions. The most widely circulated, and most forged, note is A $50. This denomination accounts for about 47 percent of paper currency and more than 80 percent of all fake money, because it has the highest par value profit and the least risk. The absolute number of fake money in Australia is not very high. It is possible for a person to get more than 50, 000 bills a year before he will encounter a fake money. However, that number is on the rise. In 2003-2004, Australia`s fake money rate stood at five out of a million, up from 17 so far.

In 2015, Australia was one of only four growing fake money countries in the world, while the remaining three were New Zealand, Norway and Sweden.
