An Australian Italian restaurant has launched a fundraising campaign for firefighters battling bushfires to produce 338ft (about 103m) long margaritas. The pizza lasted four hours and was cooked through a conveyor oven.
Pellegrini, based in New South Wales, Australia, uses several doughs about three feet (0.91 meters) long, putting them together and topping the pasta with ketchup and cheese. Then put the whole 100-plus-meter-long pizza in the conveyor oven and roast it with the classic ingredients of Margaret Pizza, such as basil leaves, oregano oil, olive oil, etc.
Pellegrini said it was the first time they had produced such a huge pizza and the restaurant would host celebrations to commemorate the record-breaking act while collecting money for the NSW Rural Fire Department. All the benefits of the event will go to the fire service, the report said.
The big event, launched by viklo ruso on ins social software, was hosted by a pizza production team and numerous volunteers. The event called on local residents to bring family and friends, in addition to tasting pizza, can also participate in painting face, playing balloons, exploring fire engines and other entertainment activities. The event is in south village kilawi from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time on sunday, jan.19.
