The world's leading economies still rank among the wealthiest countries, according to a report by wealth research firm Fortune (New World Wealth) of the New World.

Among them, the United States topped the overall wealth ranking, China and Japan ranked second and third respectively, while European countries ranked top of the list in the average wealth ranking per person.

The national wealth of the new world's wealth is based on the total value of the total wealth of countries as of June 2016, including all types of assets, cash, shares and commercial shares held by all individuals in the country. In Asia, at least 3 countries are on the list, and there are four countries in Europe.

The United States topped the list with a total wealth of $48.9 trillion, followed by China, Japan, Britain, Germany, France, India, Canada, Australia and Italy.

Analysts say Australia is among the top 10 this year, which is impressive, after all, with a population of just 22 million. Australia and Canada have both surpassed Italy in the past year, while China has been the fastest-growing country in the past 15 years.

European countries are at the top of the average wealth ranking, with Monaco at the top of the list. As of June 2016, Monaco, the world-renowned tax haven, had an average wealth of $1.6 million per person. The New World Wealth Agency says Monaco's high average wealth per person can be attributed to the country's tax-free system.

Liechtenstein, another tax haven, ranked second in the average wealth list, with an average wealth of about $ six hundred and ten thousand; and Switzerland, with an average wealth of $ two hundred and eighty three thousand nine hundred and ninety nine. It was followed by Australia's $203000 and Norway's $193000.

Luxembourg ($ one hundred and seventy eight thousand nine hundred and ninety nine), Singapore ($ one hundred and fifty six thousand nine hundred and ninety nine), the United States ($ one hundred and fifty thousand nine hundred and ninety nine), the United Kingdom ($ one hundred and forty six thousand nine hundred and ninety nine) and Sweden ($ one hundred and forty three thousand) were among the top 10 countries with average wealth per person.
