Police seized dozens of Medicare medical insurance cards and credit cards obtained by suspects through fraud

It is learned that previously, (ABF), the Australian Border Guard, and (AFP), the Australian Federal Police, raided a company in (Auburn), Sydney, and seized dozens of credit cards and Medicare medical insurance cards obtained through fraud. At the same time, there are plenty of documents and evidence of electronic materials.

On Friday, days after the operation, a 32-year-old Chinese woman, Zhuo Xuan (Xuan Zho, was arrested as she prepared to fly to Shanghai.

She was not a registered immigration agent, police said, but she submitted more than 1700 visa applications and charged clients a fee.

According to Australia`s Immigration Act, (Migration Act), Zhuo Xuan is charged with four counts, including unregistered immigration agents who provide immigration assistance to others and charge fees, falsely claiming to be an immigration agent. Non-immigrant agents, however, advertise the possibility of providing immigration assistance, etc.

On Saturday, Zhuo Xuan appeared in (Parramatta Bail Court), a local bail court in Balama, where she was released on bail, subject to a number of stringent conditions.

Border Defense Bureau New State District head Raul (Garry Low) said the operation has achieved remarkable results. He pointed out that immigration fraud is a serious offence and will be severely punished. People seeking immigration advice should make sure they are in contact with registered agents to avoid fraud.
