According to the Daily Mail, the federal government discovered new scams during the tax season and warned residents to remain vigilant.

It is reported that the scammers cloned government`s MyGov website and sent "phishing emails" to unguarded users to induce them to enter the cloning site to obtain their personal information, including their bank accounts and credit card information. Enterprise login account and password and so on.

The e-mail appears to have something to do with Medicare (Medicare), which requires residents to update their e-money transfer (Electronic Funds Transfer) information to begin receiving health insurance or claim payments. When the user clicks the MyGov site button below, it jumps to the clone site.

The way to tell whether or not to receive fraudulent e-mails is simple. The MyGov clone website ends with & # 39. Net / 39; and the real address should end with & # 39 / .gova39; / _.

Federal government also warned residents in a statement that authorities would not send users such text messages or emails with hyperlinks or site addresses.

If the user does not know the sender, or is not waiting for information from the relevant authorities, do not open the mail and avoid being fooled.

If users think they have been cheated, they can ask for help from IDcare, an online identity victim protection service.
