Australia can stand with clients and friends at the same time, and Morrison says Australia doesn`t have to choose between the United States and China.
Morrison said relationship tensions between the two powers, but Australia can maintain good relationship with both countries.
"We don`t have to stand by the side, we don`t have to give up the existing relationship," he told journalist in Sydney today. "We support our friends and our customers."
"for the future of Australia, China is a very important country, and our relationship is certainly different from that of our relationship and that of the United States. "We manage this relationship in a very pragmatic way, but this relationship is based on our common values and our desire to pursue our own national interests," Morrison said. "
