Western Australia`s government bill on euthanasia is expected to be submitted to parliament in the second half of 2019 for a vote, according to local media in Western Australia.
Patients suffering from illness may be able to apply for euthanasia in Western Australia. Western Australia can also become a legalized area of euthanasia.

The euthanasia bill was based on the fact that Clive Deverall, the former chairman of the Western Australian Cancer Council, was unable to bear the pain he suffered from lymphatic cancer and finally chose to commit suicide in March 2017.

The Western Australian House Committee had previously received about 700 submissions from members of the Labour Party, the Liberal Party, the Green Party and the National Party, and held 81 hearings, although some voices of opposition pointed out that euthanasia was "helping to commit suicide." Health minister Roger Cook said polls showed that most West Australian residents agreed that patients with terminal cancer, slow venereal disease and neurodegenerative patients could apply for assistance in euthanasia in order to reduce the pain of illness and die with dignity. The bill is expected to be submitted to Congress for vote and vote in the second half of 2019.
As part of a jury, Noreen Fynn will draft an euthanasia bill with 10 medical and legal experts led by former Western Australian Governor, Malcolm McCusker.
