Australia`s first Lady Lucy (Lucy Turnbull) says Sydney is far from saturated, and one-party leader Hansen (Pauline Hanson) has fired fire again.
In a televised interview Tuesday night, Hansen said the prime minister`s wife`s standard of living and lifestyle were difficult for Australians to look forward to.
The Queensland senator said Mrs. Tan, who is also chairman of the Grand Sydney Committee, was not aware of the facts and could not judge whether the city would be able to accept more immigrants.
"I don`t think she`s qualified to say if Sydney is full," Lucy said. "Oh, Sydney can accommodate more people." Lucy has her own lifestyle and standards, and many Australians don`t. "
Earlier this week, Ms. Hansen, who expressed support for the government`s corporate tax plan, said there was a strong demand for an end to immigration.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph on Tuesday, Mrs Tan, who was mayor of Sydney from 2003 to 2004, said the city was far from saturated when discussing the recommendations of the Grand Sydney Committee.
Netizens expressed support for Mr. Hansen`s comments, referring to Mr. and Mrs. Tan`s multimillion-yuan mansion in Point Piper.
Lucy needs to get out of her harbor mansion and see the real world, one Twitter user said. Her husband`s high immigration plan is overburdened our big city.
"Point Piper is not saturated," another said. "there is enough room for a refugee camp."
Another said, "with all due respect, Mrs. Tan Po`s, Point Piper is not necessarily saturated, but if you come to Sydney`s southwest and West Sydney, you`ll find that they`re saturated."

In 1994, Mr. and Mrs. Tan bought a coastal property for 5.4 million yuan, and five years later they bought a nearby house for 7.1 million yuan.
It is estimated that Tan Bao`s net worth in 2015 has exceeded 200 million yuan.
