A young woman threw an egg at Morrison while she was talking to a group of rural women`s associations (Country Women`s Association). Police say the prime minister flashed the attack and was not hit by the egg. It was understood that the egg was not even broken and was later found nearby.

Security officers quickly took the young woman away. An old woman was knocked down in the scuffle and Morrison picked her up.

Morrison is expected to continue campaigning in Victoria`s township areas, including the Indi district that Unionparty wants to win again, where independent councillor McGowan (Cathy McGowan) is retiring.
