According to the Brisbane Times, data from the second and third quarters of this year, owned by speedtest.net, a popular speed-measuring software, showed Australia's best download speed of (Optus), making it Australia's best fixed-network service provider. Australia Telecom (Telstra) in the peak use of the network and mobile phone network speed is the best performance.

It is reported that Ookla's data for the second and third quarters of this year show that in fixed broadband, Australia's Internet speed is the fastest, the average download speed is 24.12 Mbps, upload speed is 8.48 Mbps. Followed by Telecom Australia, Deutsche Pacific invested in (TPG), iiNet and iPrimus.

During peak hours (that is, 7: 00 p.m. to 11:00), the best performer was Telecom Australia, with an average download speed of 21.96 Mbps, and an average upload speed of 7.70 Mbps.

In terms of mobile network speed, Australia Telecom also performed best, with an average download speed of 44.20 Mbps, and an average upload speed of 14.32 Mbps. Next behind are Vodafone (Vodafone) and Australia's (Optus).

Ookla test data also showed that the new state Wolonggang (Wollongong) is Australia's best fixed broadband network speed, the average download speed of 33.72 Mbps, upload speed of 19.78 Mbps, in the full score of 94.31 points. The best local network service provider is Singapore's MyRepublic.

Wolonggang was followed by Gillon (Geelong), Victoria, with 94.26 points, followed by Gold Coast in Kunn and Newcastle (Newcastle). In New York.

Australia's fixed broadband network is slower than mobile networks, Ookla said in a report. In terms of download speed, fixed broadband is 45.4% slower and uplink speed is 40.8% slower.

The company points out that Internet service providers have different speeds, one of which is the national broadband network company (NBN Co.) They are charged differently. Another reason is the differences in technology and fiber architecture across regions. In addition, there is a low-end market customer demand impact.
