, Puffing Billy forbids hanging his legs outside a coach after collision with a tourist bus

In the wake of yesterday's collision between Menzies Creek and a tourist bus, the (Puffing Billy Railway), a popular Victorian tourist train, imposed a temporary ban on its legs from hanging outside the carriages.

A statement on the company's website said the ban would remain in place until the results of the full investigation came out.

"the practice of allowing passengers to hang their legs outside the carriage has been suspended," the statement said. "We appreciate your understanding."

A 15-passenger tourist bus collided with a small train yesterday, derailing it. A man in his 40s on the bus was taken to hospital.

The passengers of the small train were unhurt, and they said they were frightened.

"We're all wondering what happened and why they kept going," Meiqi Li told Radio 9. I'm lucky no one gets hurt. "

Investigators were told that the tourist bus driver said his brakes failed while School Road was heading east.
