Design consultancy Arcadis has released its latest report on the world's busiest railway hub, the Daily Mail reported. Australia's railway stations are among the worst in the world, according to the survey.
In this year's ranking, Arcadis ranked 27 of the world's busiest stations, including transport hub connectivity, surrounding environment, location-building (Placemaking) and economic development.
Sydney Central Station (Central Station) Railway Station ranked second last. Next is Cheshi (Chatswood) Railway Station, ranking third in the last place. Melbourne's Southern Cross Station (Southern Cross Station) is just the top few.

Arcadis, a design consultancy, found that while the (Martin Place) station in Martin Square, Sydney, performed slightly better, the Australian railway hub in general disappointed commuters and tourists.
Like stations in other major Australian cities, (Roma Street) Station on Roman Street in Brisbane is suffering from an equally serious problem, namely, isolation from the community, said Arcadis's Dahl (Vernon Daal).

New York Central Railway Station topped the list.
On the other hand, the U. S. transportation hub performed well, with New York Central Railway Station (Grand Central Terminal) topping the list and Washington Union Station (Washington Union Station) second.
University of Hong Kong railway station (HKU Station), Paris North Station (Gare du Nord Train Station), Rotterdam Central Railway Station (Rotterdam Central Station) in the top five, ranked 3-5.
In the traffic congestion of Beijing, Wangjing Station accidentally broke into the top 10, ranked ninth.
