Introduction

Mirima National Park, also known as Hidden Valley National Park, is located in the East Kimberley Region, north-east of Western Australia, near the border of the Northern Territory, near the town of Kununurtra, about 3,200 kilometers from Perth, the capital of Western Australia, about 820 kilometers from Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, about 20.68 square kilometers.

Often referred to as the mini-version of Bangle Bungle Ranges, Mirima National Park is perfect for hiking and a spectacular view of East Kimberley. The aborigines, who have lived here for thousands of years, have also given this unusual historical significance, and when hiking, visitors can often see the rock paintings, prints and other relics left by the aborigines.

Mirima National Park's tranquil valleys are filled with steep cliffs, valleys and ridges, changing into dark orange coats at dawn and dusk, and, in the evening, the stunning scene of raptors preying. There are a wide variety of wild animals in the national park, including birds, reptiles, small kangaroos, bats, wild dogs and echidnas.
