Yardie Creek is located in Western Australia's World Heritage site: within (Cape Range National Park), Cape Ridge National Park in (Ningaloo Marine Park), Nighgro Coast, about 85 kilometers by car from the main town of (Exmouth) on the Ningero Coast, (Exmouth).
Yardie Creek is one of the highlights of Cape Ridge National Park, a sand bank surrounded by water in the canyon, making it a permanent pool and eventually converging into the Indian Ocean (Indian Ocean), in this ancient canyon, murmuring, clear blue. The red limestone cliffs dotted with a rich variety of birds and wildlife, including rare black-footed marsupials, rock kangaroos and red kangaroos.
There are two ways to visit Yardie Creek:
- Cruise ship: with the cruise boat all the way twists and turns, along the way to see the two sides of the canyon, colorful ribbon reflected in the water, beautiful. During the peak season, cruise ships leave every day at 11:00AM and 12 / 30 AM. tickets can be booked at the Exemouth tourist Centre, priced at A $35 for adults and A $15 for children;
- Trekking: the hiking route is divided into two sections, one of which is the 1.25-kilometer natural walk of the cliff, (Yardie Nature Trail), winding along Yardie Creek, enjoying the valley scenery and overlooking the Ningro Reef, (Ningaloo Reef);. And in the cliff after the end of the natural footpath, immediately into the 750m-long cliff canyon track (Yardie Gorge Trail), difficulty sharply increased, need better physical strength; At the end is a high point overlooking the magnificent views of Yardie Creek and Ningglo Reef.
