Introduction

Hyde Park Barracks is located at the southernmost end of (Macquarie Street) on McQuinn Avenue in the heart of Sydney, New South Wales, next to (Hyde Park). Hyde Park.

Hyde Park Barracks is one of 11 sites at (Australian Convict Sites), an Australian convict exile site, assessed by UNESCO as the World Cultural Heritage site, and another site in Sydney is (Cockatoo Island)., Corkto Island.

The Hyde Park military camp was designed by the architect, Francis Greenway, who was one of the criminals who were exiled by the British government to Sydney. The Hyde Park military camp, in 1819 and 1848, provided a place of placement for 15,000 male offenders who were employed in the Government and later developed into a female migrant supply station, as well as the Government's place of refuge for the weak and poor women; and between 1887 and 1979, it was used as the Government's office.

Hyde Park Barracks, a long-standing popular landmark in Sydney, is now a museum where visitors can explore the environment in which criminals were exiled, startled by the horror of the sound, and lying on the criminal's hammock for a while. As well as understanding the daily life of other residents in the barracks, there is a free archaeological display on the first floor.

The Hyde Park Barracks has a souvenir shop and a coffee shop (Hyde Park Barracks Cafe) with a Chinese interpreter, which is included in the ticket costs.
