Introduction

St Peter's Cathedral (St Peter ' s Cathedral) is located in the heart of South Australian capital Adelaide, north of Victoria Square (Victoria Square).

Adelaide, also known as the church city, is St Peter's Cathedral the mother of Adelaide Anglican parish, and the building itself is one of the landmarks of the Adelaide. From the banks of the Torrance River (River Torrens) you can see its two spires. Built in 1869, the church is not only the largest of the Adelaide100's remaining churches, but also the most famous, numbered and best-known throughout Australia.

The St Peter's Cathedral, which began in the late 19th century and took 40 years before it was finally completed in 1904, was like many other churches in the world, in a Gothic style, visible from both the main entrance and the west. The south side of the church was somewhat similar to the Paris Virgin Mary Cathedral, with ornate rose windows at the main entrance, which depicted the stories of South Australia and Bible, named after Saint Peter, one of the twelve, as well as the famous St Peter's Cathedral of many European around the world.
