Introduction

Wardang Island is located in (Spencer Gulf), Spencer Bay, west of (Yorke Peninsula), South Australia, about 4 km from the Port Victoria straight line on the west coast of York Peninsula.

Wardang Island covers an area of about 12 square kilometers, and in the waters around the island, eight ships, large and small, have sunk in the sea, and these shipwrecks have become a paradise for divers, collectively known as the Wardang Island maritime heritage of (Wardang Island Maritime Heritage), The local government encouraged divers to photograph and explore debris sites, placing buoys near the shipwreck to locate the site, making it an ideal place for new divers. But watch out for civilization and don't take anything from the wreckage to avoid breaking local laws.
