The Brighton Beach is located in the western suburbs Adelaide the state capital of South Australia, about 12 kilometers from downtown Adelaide.
Brighton Beach is one of the many beaches on the west side of the Adelaide, which is less well-known than greer beach (Glenelg Beach), samaritan beach (Semaphore Beach), but also has a unique flavor.
The Jetty Rd leading to the Brighton Beach is a very lively street, with restaurants, bars and shops on both sides, and the end of the Jetty Rd is the Brighton trestle (Brighton Jetty), which is about 200 meters long. The biggest feature of the Brighton Beach is the memorial arch (Arch of Remembrance) in front of the trestle bridge, a monument to the soldiers and women who died for the country in the wars and world conflict in which Australia participated.
