Introduction
Moochalabra Dam is about 25 kilometers from Wyndham, just south of Wyndham, the small town of (East Kimberley Region), in the eastern Kimberley region of northeast Western Australia.
Moochalabra Dam, located on the Kings River (King River), has a unique dam structure and is the source of Wyndham's water supply, so fishing, camping and swimming are not allowed in. Moochalabra Dam and the surrounding environment is beautiful, is the exploration of indigenous cave murals. And a great place to look at local wildlife. There is a huge monkey bread prison tree by the dam under the (Boab Prison Tree), tree that is perfect for picnics.
