Introduction

Great Sandy National Park is located in (Fraser Coast Region), a famous world natural heritage site on the Freze coast of southeast Queensland: south of (Fraser Island), the capital of Queensland, about 160km from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, covering an area of 2195.55 square kilometers.

At Great Sandy National Park, you can enjoy the most magnificent masterpieces of nature on the beach, with huge sand dunes and towering cliffs, colored beaches and open beaches that have been slightly eroded by wind and water. The beach is dotted with tall jungle, fragrant Shinan wild flowers and white Thousand-story forests, where the waters are also common, with waves, freshwater lakes and the undamaged upper reaches of (Noosa River) on the Noosa River.

Visitors can follow one of the scenic paths to the scenic spot, such as the historic Twin Island Corner Lighthouse (Double Island Point lighthouse); can take a tent and set foot on the Curula wilderness path (Cooloola Wilderness Trail) for a two-to four-day journey; drive along the beach, or cross the towering open forests and wilderness along the Curula path and Freshwater Avenue (Freshwater Road). If you want to walk along the beach or along the coast during the low tide, you need a four-wheeled SUV with a high chassis. Many places can camp: from official campsites with facilities to wilderness camps.

Noosa Cape (Noosa Heads), south of the National Park, and (Tewantin) and Rainbow Beach (Rainbow Beach), north of the National Park, have visitor information centers.
