Myponga Reservoir is located on the edge of (Myponga), a small town on the (Fleurieu Peninsula) peninsula, south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. It is about 55 kilometers from downtown Adelaide and covers an area of about 2.8 square kilometers.
Myponga Reservoir is located on the only way from Adelaide to (Cape Jervis), where (Kangaroo Island) wharf is located on the kangaroo island. 5% of the water used in the Adelaide city is provided by it, the natural environment is beautiful, the population is very quiet, and the Myponga Reservoir viewing platform (Myponga Reservoir Lookout), located on the reservoir road on the west side of the reservoir, can enjoy the vast water surface, mountains and vast green space.
