Macquarie Street is located in the heart of Sydney, a north-south street leading to the Sydney Opera House, south of (Sydney Opera House), connected to Hyde Park (Hyde Park). Macquarie Street is a very historic road, with a lot of historic buildings. Was an area inhabited by early colonial senior managers, including the Hyde Park Prison site Museum, (Hyde Park Barracks Museum), New South Wales Council (Parliament of New South Wales), built in 1819.
