Rockhampton Botanic Gardens is located in the central Queensland city of Rockhampton, Murray lagoon (Murray Lagoon), covering about 33 hectares.
Rockhampton Botanic Gardens is considered to be one of the best local parks in Australia, a tropical paradise with beautiful arboretum, shady green trees and well-trimmed gardens with excellent palms, cycads and ferns. Some species have a history of more than 100 years.
