AQWA is located in Sorrento Quay, Perth northwest suburb of the capital of Western Australia, about 20 kilometers from downtown Perth.
AQWA is said to be the world's tenth largest aquarium, the exhibition is divided into six parts, showing the unique marine life on the 12,000-kilometer coastline of Western Australia. the six parts of the aquarium are: Great Southern Coast( large south coast), Shipwreck Coast( shallow coast), Perth Coast (perth coast), Dangerzone( hazardous area), Far North Coast( far north coast) and Creatures up close( close to biological area).
Also, the AQWA has a 98-meter-long underwater tunnel, the longest in Australia, where it can be strolled and watched as giant turtles, sharks and other fish swim quietly overhead. Adventure friendly friends can take part in "swim with sharks" and "walk on coral" activities, need to make an appointment in advance.
