Introduction

Grafton, a small town in the northeast interior of New South Wales, is known for its jacaranda and has been named one of the 10 most beautiful Australian towns in Australia by Traveller magazine (Australian Travellor).

Grafton Jacaranda Festival is Grafton's annual grand festival, usually starting at a weekend in October and ending on the first weekend in November for nine days, when the whole town looks magical. The branches hanging with purple flowers are stacked one after another, and the ground is covered with purple petals, the fragrance of the flowers, when the wind rises, purple flowers fly, falling across the land, beautiful.

The Hill Park (See Park) on the (Clarence River) side of the Clarence River is the perfect place to enjoy the jacaranda, and in addition to the flowers, the Blue Flower couplets also include many interesting activities, including lively bazaars and fun playgrounds. Street entertainers and clowns perform, carnival shows on the Clarence River, fireworks shows, Saturday morning Tafe Markets, afternoon float big parade, etc. And the most eye-catching is the selection of Queen Jacaranda. Queen Jacaranda is divided into three parts: adult group, juvenile group and early childhood group. The winner will be named the "jacaranda queen" of that age group. He will eventually be crowned under the jacaranda tree.
