Legend has it that in 1838, the Paech family brought strawberry seeds from their ancestors' homes, scattered them in the hills and fields outside the town, and the spring breeze brought seeds with them, and strawberries spread like weeds, so they renamed their farm Beerenberg.. Strawberries here are premium strawberry brands in Australia, and some airlines, hotels and restaurants offer their jam.
