Introduction

Adelaide Chinatown, located on (Moonta Street) Monta Street in the center of Adelaide, South Australia, is a 150m, north-south pedestrian street, starting at the north end of (Grote Street), Groth Street and finally connecting to the famous Adelaide central market (Adelaide Central Market) on the east side of (Gouger Street),.

Like Sydney Chinatown (Sydney Chinatown), there is a Chinese archway at the north and south ends of the, Adelaide Chinatown. The northern archway is written "Chinatown", while the southern end is the "Zhonghua Gate". Under the archways on both sides, there is a stone lion town guard, which is full of strong traditional Chinese atmosphere. Just 150 meters of Chinatown and its surrounding roads, there are many Chinese restaurants, grocery stores and domestic retail stores.

Compared with Sydney and Melbourne, Chinatown, Adelaide Chinatown is much smaller and smaller, but because Adelaide is different from Sydney, Melbourne has no large-scale Chinese community, Chinatown is also the only choice for most Chinese living in Adelaide to buy Chinese food and goods, which makes Chinatown and its surrounding areas the highest proportion of Chinese in Adelaide.
