Introduction

Grant Burge's small town in (Barossa Valley), South Australia's best-known wine region, is about 75 kilometers from downtown Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, and is one of the best-known wineries in Barossa Valley.

Count Grant, (Grant Burge), is the owner of Grant Burge, the fifth-generation grape grower and winemaker of the family winery. The brewery history of the Earl family dates back to March 1855. The famous tailor, count John, moved from Piussy (Pewsey), Wiltshire, England, to Barossa, South Australia, with his wife and children, and served as a winemaker at (Hillside Vineyards), a vineyard on the top of the hill. John's son, Meshach (Meshach), was influenced by his father and had a great passion and high pursuit for grape planting and wine making. Continuing his father's wine-making tradition, he successfully brewed the first wine in 1865 and gradually became a well-known community leader. In 1883, Meshach and Emma (Emma) married and had eight children, among them. The eldest son, Percival (Percival), founded Wilford Brewery (Wilsford Winery). In 1928 near (Lyndoch), Lindoche. Percival has two sons, Noel (Noel) and Colin (Colin). Colin and his wife Nancy (Nancy) gave birth to a son, Grant (Grant). Grant, following his father and grandparents, brought the family's wine-making tradition into the 21st century, becoming one of the most respected people in Australia's wine industry, representing an innovative force.

Grant, a winemaker at Grant Burge, believes that good wines come from good vineyards, which are the basis for quality assurance. So Grant personally oversees everything from grape planting to vineyard management and maintenance to wine production. The chateau also uses the principle of adapting to local conditions, respecting the land, conforming to nature, ensuring the harvest of high-quality wine-making materials, and using advanced wine-making equipment to produce top-class wines.
