Burleigh Head National Park is located on the southern coast of Gold Coast in the second largest city of Queensland, about 15 kilometers from the city of Gold Coast.

The 0.3-square-kilometre Burleigh Head National Park is mini-sized in Australia's hundreds-square-kilometer national park. The National Park is located on the north side of the entrance of the Talbugra Creek, (Tallebudgera Creek), with ancient volcanic columns close to the sea, and (Burleigh Heads Beach) Beach in Cape Bethlehem, north of the National Park, is one of Australia's most famous surfing beaches.
