Located in the southwest suburb of kangaroos (Kangaroo Island), the largest resort in southern south australia, Kingscote Airport is a small regional airport and the only airport on kangaroos, with an annual passenger throughput of about 50000 people.
Kingscote Airport began operation on June 16,1983, and completed runway upgrading and new terminal building in July 2018.
Kingscote Airport is about 15 kilometers from the Kingscote and 30 kilometers from the river americas (American River). The airport has no bus routes to and from kangaroo island towns. It can rent cars or call taxi services at the airport. Car rental companies such as hertz (Hertz) and bagit (Budget) have service counters in the terminal.
