Table Cape Tulip Farm is located in the coastal town of (Wynyard), northwest Tasmania, about 20 kilometers from Burnie.
Cape (Table Cape) is a volcanic plateau on a cliff along the Wanyade coastline. The 180-meter-high cliff is almost completely perpendicular to sea level, and (Bass Strait), Table Cape Tulip Farm falls straight to the Bath Strait. Robert Thomson (Roberts Thomson) and his family have settled in Cape Taiwan since 1910 and began planting tulips in 1984. The development has been a huge farm covering nearly 40 hectares. It is said to be the largest tulip flower field in the southern hemisphere.
Every year at flowering, the tulips here begin to bloom, looking from afar, as if God had knocked over the toner, and the earth was covered with a layer of flower carpets, delicate and fragrant.
