The small town of Penneshaw, home to the wharf of (Kangaroo Island), the famous kangaroo island in southern Australia, is also home to one of the world's youngest penguins, the same species as the penguins on (Phillip Island), Victoria's Philip Island. The penguins come home early and late and return to their land homes every night, and this is the best time to watch them at close range.
The penguins on the kangaroo island live in two places, penneshaw and kingscote, but have been affected by a variety of factors over the last decade, and the number of penguins has dropped very quickly, and penneshaw is the only place on the island of kangaroo to see the penguin coming home, At present, the number of penguins is about 50, which is far less than that of Phillips, and if the penguin is seen, it doesn't matter.
