Bicheno is a small town on the eastern coast of Tasmania, about 180km southwest of Horbart, the capital of Tasmania, and 160km northwest of (Launceston), Tasmania's second largest city, with a resident population of about 800km.
Bicheno is best known for watching nesting penguins, which are of the same kind as Melbourne Philip Island (Phillip Island), not in town, on a path close to the beach.
