Hunter Valley, also known as the Hunter area, is located in eastern New South Wales, about 120km from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, with a total area of 29145 square kilometers. It is a famous wine producing area in Australia. Along with (Barossa Valley) in Barosa Valley in South Australia and (Yarra Valley) in the Yala River Valley in Victoria, it is known as the three major wine valleys in Australia. The area is littered with more than 120 wineries of all sizes.
Hunter Valley is the largest valley in New South Wales and a famous tourist destination.
