Kondalilla Falls is located in (Kondalilla National Park), a Condarilla National Park in southeastern Queensland, about 100km from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, and only about 2km from the small town of Montville.
The maximum drop of Kondalilla Falls is about 80 meters, usually the amount of water is small, and the amount of waterfall will increase sharply after rainy season or heavy rain. From the parking lot to the waterfall needs to walk about 1 kilometer, along the way there is no shop, all the way is a natural forest, fresh and natural, birds and flowers. Above the waterfall is a dense eucalyptus forest connected to the beautiful rainforest, near which there are more than 100 species of birds, more than 70 species of reptiles and more than 30 species of frogs, while there is a clear pool at the bottom of the waterfall where you can swim in summer. There are two main walkways around the waterfall, namely:
- Picnic Creek Ring Road (Picnic Creek circuit): 2.4km, it takes about 45 minutes to enjoy the beauty of the valley at the scenic spots;
- Kondalilla Falls roundabout (Kondalilla Falls circuit): 4.7km, it takes about 2 to 3 hours, this walkway has more than 100 steps, requires a certain amount of physical strength.
