Located in Phytology Bay National Park (Kamay Botany Bay National Park), the La Perouse is about 16 kilometers from downtown Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, a scenic beach park and wildlife Sydney.
The Count of Conte de La Perouz (Jean-Francois de Galaup,comte de Laperouse), who was commissioned by King Louis XVI of France to explore the Pacific Ocean in 1788, La Perouse named for it, is also Sydney rare place named in French. Blue sky, sea breeze, beach, seabird, bikini, La Perouse have all the necessary elements of the island.
La Perouse is also one of the best scuba diving sites in new south wales and an excellent wedding photography venue, surrounded by a wide range of coral reefs. To the west is the French Beach (Frenchmans Beach), to the east is Chongwen Beach (Congwong Beach), large green lawns, swarms of seagulls, lazy dead trees, earthy red rocks, blue sea, golden beach, vicissitudes of wooden trestle, barracks watchtowers, monuments, wine red La Perouse museum, all constitute a beautiful visual picture.
The La Perouse is connected to a small bridge on Bald Island (also known as Naked Island). The island's bunkers are open for guided tours every Sunday to buy tickets at the La Berruz Museum (La Perouse Museum). At present, La Perouse is the core landscape part of Botany Bay National Park, where many locals come to enjoy sunbathing in the spring and summer seasons. In 2000, the movie "Mission impossible 2", directed by wu yusen and starring tom cruise, was filmed here.
