Frenchmans Beach is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, near the Lapiluz part of (Kamay Botany Bay National Park), the botanical Bay National Park, about 15 kilometers from downtown Sydney.
Frenchmans Beach is about 500m long in (Frenchmans Bay), the French Bay, and (Frenchmans Bay Beach Breakwater), a stone breakwater in the middle, divides the beach into two.
Frenchmans Beach is a quiet beach suitable for swimming, surfing and sunbathing, especially popular with families, with shops and restaurants, children's playgrounds and public toilets nearby.
